Gage_beaton Report post Posted September 21, 2022 Shot a bull up by the turkey mountain area near divide tank… hit a limb and it kicked and hit him in the liver. Decided to back out for the night and come back to the blood but it unexpectedly rained and washed my blood trail away. Arrow is sticking out both sides figured it’s a long shot but I’ll post here to see if someone maybe comes across it. Shot on Monday of the second week. Beaton Report post Posted September 21, 2022 Yes it was a 6x6. We backed out because the blood indicated liver. The shot was 3 inches back barely missing the lungs but blood was for sure a liver shot which is fatal. We did the right thing and backed out. Problem is it rain at 2am when it wasn't supposed to and washed the blood trail away completely. We searched all day. And put almost 10 miles on our boots gridding the whole area.
