bowsniper Report post Posted November 1, 2008 I'm trying to give someone an accurate appraisal of an FN-FAL barrel that I'm trying to sell over the internet. The guy wants me to describe any throat erosion. So my dumb question: Where does throat erosion occur? Is it right where the lands meet the chamber? What does a little throat erosion look like compared to a lot of erosion? Thanks for your help. Mark
GameHauler Report post Posted November 1, 2008 If the Tonsils are brown and stringy looking or if the esophagus does not have a nice pink color with defined rings it has sever throat erosion. Hope that helps
