nmurray10 Report post Posted August 31, 2022 Can I ask, why a starting pistol?
Tres Report post Posted August 31, 2022 A few reasons, but for a short answer is: the reason we use them is so the pup gets used to the sound of gun shot, you aren’t shooting lead all over, easy to carry during training.

This was my thought. Thanks for confirming it as cheaper. Or watch for sales on the Heritage. I found one on sale for $109 with an additional $20 rebate. $89 not bad for a .22 plinker.
nmurray10 Report post Posted September 1, 2022 I was also going to suggest blanks if you already have a .22 pistol as well. The other guys might be spot on with the ruger and heritage 👌🏻👌🏻
