452b264 Report post Posted October 3, 2022 I hunted elk and deer back to back seasons as I was working and living close to the unit and picked up left over tags. I only saw one big bull moose the rest were little ones. If hes seeing them he needs to stay in that area. He will also find them an 1/8 to 1/4 of the way up the mountain from the bottom of the creek beds or about a 1000 yards. Most of the moose I saw were in the pine/aspen forest and close to water.
