mikeincg Report post Posted October 30, 2008 My little glassing stool I used for glassing finally gave out under my big butt, I am looking for a stool/chair for extended glassing. I also need it light enough to use when I am backpacking. Any ideas suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

COUESAZ Report post Posted October 31, 2008 I only use a stool when glassing from the road or close to the road. Once i am off on foot i use a pad that is like the self inflating stuff. it rolls up tight and take very little space. I will find a rock outcrop or tree to lean back on if i need to relax while glassing. The less i pack in is the less i have to pack out with the added weight of my Buck.
