cohntr6 Report post Posted August 18, 2022 I am sure the mafia will be happy if Lake Mead rises at all. LOL! The Gila running through Safford has been going strong for over a month and the Frisco finally jumped up today, so I'm sure San Carlos is up. One thing I noticed around here is that even with all the rain some dry washes are still dry or only have a tiny stream probably because the ground has been so darn dry for so long it is soaking up every drop and not allowing running water. It starts to sprinkle. me (a Tucson native with 37 years of monsoon experience) "We should leave" every one else: "Nah we are fine" Approximately 45 seconds later we are all sprinting to our cars.
