On the left side, about a 1/3 the way down there is a tree. To right of the tree there is some brush giving off shade, in the shade the deer is bedded down! Is that right???

What I see is a deer's head looking to the right.....does appear to be a buck and a big buck at that! Could just be branches though, but what my eyes make out is enough to get the heart pumpin! Am I gettin' excited over a bush with a well placed branch? :P

Chef, my mind is making out a good buck at 2 o'clock from your circle and about 3-5 yards?. The size of the ocotillos gives a little bit of reference to the size of the critter we are looking for.

I still don't know if what I'm seeing is antlers or not, but it sure looks like it! JIM>

two o clock from the circle is where you can see the face of the buck. he is probably a low ninties buck (90 - 95). he bedded down next to the single trunked mesquite at nine o clock from the circle at 7:30 am right in the sun! after about 30 minutes he rebedded to the spot where he is in this picture. then about 15 minutes after that he went further up into the shade at two o clock from the circle and I could not see him then.
