bowhunter-tw Report post Posted August 10, 2022 Who anneals their brass and what device do you use to do it? Looking at possibly getting an annealing machine or open to other methods
lancetkenyon Report post Posted August 10, 2022 I anneal every firing. Keeps brass necks consistent.

Fern Report post Posted August 10, 2022 I recently ordered a ugly annealer and love it. Annealed all my 204 brass and will be doing 22-250 next. Look into it and it was even on Amazon. I like that the wheels are not plastic like some and is very sturdy. some people complained that it didn’t come with a torch but that to me crazy that someone would expect it to come with it
bowhunter-tw Report post Posted August 10, 2022 I’ll check them out; the bench source is a bit too expensive for me
bowhunter-tw Report post Posted August 10, 2022 I noticed when I attempted to neck down from 6.5 to 6mm the shoulder cracked right on the corner; im assuming annealing will prevent this?

JSR Report post Posted August 10, 2022 I use one of these. It was pretty easy to assemble and works well. You can dial into within 1/100th of second. If you are doing 100's of cases at a time it would be very annoying. I usually only work with 50 pieces of brass at a time for each gun I reload for.
MULEPACKHUNTER Report post Posted August 13, 2022 That ugly annealer looks interesting. The main thing I wanted was for my cases to spin in the flame. that design seems like it would do well.
