So what happens if......

Recommended Posts

Dang Lark, nice post!

You're talking about prayer, truth, and the exchange of evil for good and good for evil (bad guys/good guys).

And you are right on the money.

But Obama has promised to sign bills that would make it impossible to ever again challenge abortion and homosexual marraige (there's some more evil for good, and good for evil). He would also be in the position to appoint the next few supreme court judges that will impact our country in a very unfavorable liberal way for the next 3-4 decades.

He is a buddy of arabic people; they love him - why?

We won't just get the democratic party filling an empty suit (which would be bad enough) we will find out over time what the man really believes which could very well be:

Socialism, "share the wealth"

Weaker military

Favorable to dangerous foriegn leaders

Not favorable to Isreal

Not in favor of drilling/nuclear - keeping our economy in the hands of mid-east countries

Favorable to homosexual agenda

Favorable to abortion

And apparently favorable to more bone-headed economic ideas - like Fannie Mae.

All this stuff is diametrically opposed to what this country was founded upon, and done so well with.

He smells like an outright communist, but even that label is too good for what he can turn out to be.

Let's all PRAY AND VOTE to do our part in preventing this masked man from winning.

Thanks Lark,

Mike

i can't disagree with anything you've said. i'm holding onto hope that Mcain can pull it off. it looks a little better everyday and it can happen. but no matter what, this is still America. we'll just hafta vote the joker out in 4 years if he gets elected. clinton had a dumbocrat house and senate for several years and was never able to do much. i still maintain he didn't want to. he was in it for himself and the office and country meant nothing to him. osama might be different. he might actually believe the crap he spews. gonna be interesting to say the least. go Mcain, go Palin! Lark.

Mike & Lark excellent points, the extremely troubling part about the man is he is not really hiding from many of those views and the guy still has incredible support. Like TAM said SHEEPLE, I'd add, "Lemmings For O'Bama". The views and beliefs he is trying to hide from he's allowed to brush it off and minimize by using the race card or the typical right wingers are out to get him and that's just what they do. Clinton was called the teflon man cause nothing ever stuck to him, I'd have to say he's the Teflon man to the third power, at least with the mainstain media and the left, truly amazing. The guy is obviously really comfortable around radical terrorists and shady people and they are obviously really comfortable around him. Like Mike said,The one area where he could truly "Change" this country for a long long time and not for the better, is with his Supreme Court nominees. With a majority in the house and senate I suspect he will do just that if elected.

So if the name of the game is "what happens if..." What do you think O's chances would be if our government worked as our founders intended?

Now I'm sure there will be those that know history much better than I do and recall their civics courses much better than I do but it's my understanding that our founders really Founded a "Republic" (a form of democracy) as opposed to a true Democracy (or one equal vote per adult) this of course did not become a generally accepted principle in our democracies until the early 20th century - before that in all democratic republics the right to vote depended on one's financial situation meaning you had to be a contributer to society as apposed to a user.

I believe the Republic form of government was favored because, as in an article someone posted many months ago, it was believed that a true democracy can not exist as a permanent form of government due to the fact that as soon as the public learns it can vote itself benefits from the public trust the democracy will fail as a result of fiscal irresponsiblity - sound familar?

So, how would O fair if you had to have a job, own property, pay taxes and etc. to vote?

Has anybody considered what might happen if McCain does win? There are going to be a whole lot of angry people out there (LA riots). For that matter, what if osama wins? There have been a lot situations (sporting events, etc.) where celebrations get violent. (Detroit, etc) Something to think about for November 5th.

Mark

Yep something to think about. with the economy the way it is.... maybe its a good time to invest in companies making tear gas and blast sheilds. :)

Excellent point Scout'm,

We were originally set up as a republic, and you had to be a land owner to vote. I'm hearing now in some states a transient can give a park bench number as an address and vote!

who cares? obama won't be the president and right now that is all that matters. i really think that when it comes time to go in the booth, Americans are gonna do the right thing and vote Mccain/Palin. i really do. i think the media and pollsters have been hedging trying to sway things for osama, i mean obama's way and that when it comes down to it, the good guys are gonna win. if they don't, well, i don't even wanna think about that. Lark.

Sure hope yer right Lark. What if obama gets elected and something happens to him while hes in office, that would prolly set off more than just riots.

I will be very surprised if he makes term.

The only right choice he EVER made was not

picking Hiltery for VP.

He would not have made it 6 months.

Just a quick edit.

I would like to see the figures to PROTECT this P.O.S.

compared to past Presidents .

Well if he does not make it to term lets all just pray that the idiot that does the deed does not use a gun. That would give the Demiocratic controled Senate all the excuse they need to pass any anti gun law they want. Dont think it cant happen. I may not like the man at all and I dissagree with well everything he stands for but I dont want to see hin dead.

Well, after having a little time to reflect and gather my thoughts, it's time to realize that God is still in control.

I respect the office of the President, even if I do not agree with the policies that are being represented. I don't want to go through the next 4 years filled with hate, like the liberals have done for the last 8. I truly hope that he does a great job, for the good of the country. By great, I don't mean just from a $$$ view as I know I would rather live check to check under capitalism than live like a King under socialism.
