Dan Cooper Supports Obama

Recommended Posts

Boy that's a triple whammy right there. The first thing BO will do is raise the taxes he pays as a small business owner. Then he'll just rip the carpet right out from under his feet and shut him down all together by tougher gun ownership and manufacturing laws. Finally when all the good ole boys find out Cooper supported BO none of them will want to buy his crap anyway!

All I can say to Cooper is you make the bed you sleep in.

This is getting scary. I am amazed how people (sheeple) are lining up like lambs going to slaughter.

If you promise people a bunch of free crap, they will vote for you, no matter what their core beliefs are.

Cooper changed sides, he said, "probably because of the war. And also because the Republican Party has moved so far right in recent years."

Are you kidding me?

For Sale:

Cooper Model 21 in 6.5x284. Couple of scratches. Shoots almost anything into an inch. Pet load consistently a half inch. Used to be one of my favorite rifles.

I'm keeping the Leupold 6.5x20, I still like it.

Disregard last. I may forgive him. Looks like poor judgement on the initial donation. Pasted from Cooper's website...

Regarding the USA Today Article. Cooper Firearms of Montana, Inc. did not contribute and does not support in any fashion the campaign of Senator Obama.

Nine months ago Dan Cooper (personally) made an online donation to the campaign in an effort to help defeat Hillary Clinton and in protest of American plant closures and the shipping of jobs overseas. Three months ago he made yet another donation to the McCain campaign and the RNC totaling over twice that given to Obama campaign.

There is no doubt that the article in USA Today has caused a considerable response. To this end we are encouraged and stand with our fellow NRA members and supporters of the Second Amendment and against those who oppose it.

I wouldnt say that it was bad judgement, but considering what was known about Obama and what was known about hillary at that time it was probably a thought out strategic move if you think about it. supporting whom a the time probably had the least chance of beating mccain.....just didnt turn out so well.

Hooked,

Selling what you already have would not impact Cooper. Kinda like closing the barn doors after the horses have already escaped. It would be the purchase of a NEW Cooper that might be boycotted.
