PRDATR Report post Posted July 20, 2022 4 minutes ago, creed said: Is it worth the money? Depends how desperate you are. I have one I bought 5 years ago. I can usually text but internet is spotty. It gives you 1.5 more bars.
n2horns Report post Posted July 20, 2022 They will NOT create a signal if there isn't one there. Need a signal even faint and it will boost it. What helps is getting it higher up that roof line, above cargo bars/boxex etc..... Text message usually can get out when there isnt a phone signal. Inreach gets you texting all day long. We go to the North Rim turkey hunting every year and this device has proven extremely valuable to us while up there... I would definitely buy another one if mine broke... bigorange Report post Posted July 20, 2022 Are you talking about a portable booster to use in remote areas or a booster for home? We have no landline and when we moved a couple yrs ago the cell signal is so bad and so many dead spots in our house that we bought a booster for home. It requires an Ethernet connection and gps signal.

Coueser Report post Posted July 20, 2022 AzDiamond, thanks for the link. I’m guessing you use the RV model? Are there many camping locations where you don’t have signal?

I think I found it cheaper on eBay. There was a little configuration to it but once I got it setup and connected it’s been great. the link is to AMazon. Greenback Report post Posted July 20, 2022 I use an older Wilson cell phone booster at my place up north and it takes my phone from zero signal to about 2 bars, enough to text and call out with. Here is a link to their newer version. https://www.wilsonsignalbooster.com/weboost-470154-drive-reach-mobile-signal-booster-kit.html
