Range Grass

Recommended Posts

On one of the threads earlier there was alot of discussion about grazing and over grazing. After hunting down in 34B this past weekend I dare say there is a serious fire hazard lurking around the corner down there. Seems like there could be a happy medium. Is it always like that down there or just an exceptional rain season?

Plus, I thought there was alot of dead shrub, trees etc. is that due to the bark beatle or just plain drought?

Enjoyed the hunt and the scenery, went for a tour up French Joe canyon, beautiful hike and drive but rougher than all get out.

For most of that area it was an exceptional summer for rain. People can not remember seeing the grass that deep in the last 20-30 years.
