The bacterium were never found in AZ before but they were found in California hatcheries in 2020. The trail cam ban being related to Commifornia transplants is purely speculation on my part. n2horns Report post Posted July 5, 2022 I fish the Sierras in Cali and this has been going on for few years now. Cali GnF have mentioned that this bacteria may even have come from Mexico via birds to Cali and thus now maybe even to us. Not sure how this really spreads, but if its from transplanted CA fish to AZ hatcheries or is it really nature or birds from Mexico? Either way, there are other sources of private hatcheries from outside the state, but expensive to bring in. There is even mention of Big Bear Lake in CA, being moved to more of a warm lake for bass, catfish etc.. and kill off remaining trout. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
