greg.shrum Report post Posted June 27, 2022 Started converting a utility trailer into an enclosed camp trailer and will probably use either Rhino lining or LineX to coat the exterior. Exterior is painted steel from existing trailer frame, 2”x2” steel angle for corner trim and white birch plywood for siding. Has anyone used either of these for this purpose and how did it hold up? Is it worth the cost($1200-$1500) or would it be just as good to paint and seal it myself? I’m sure the professional lining would look a lot better.
PRDATR Report post Posted June 27, 2022 That should be plenty sturdy using unistrut. I would highly recommend using locknuts and loctite.
ctafoya Report post Posted June 27, 2022 I saw some dude back east using strut nut that looked like nylocks. That would be super secure.

greg.shrum Report post Posted August 6, 2022 Ended up going with the Line-X. I thought it would seal the gaps better, but had a couple leaks. Added some weatherproofing around the windows and a couple spots on the roof, now weatherproof. I will take it back in to LineX to spray over these areas for added protection and aesthetics. Can still carry a Polaris sportsman size quad inside. Still going to ad roof rack for the kayaks, awning, receiver for bike rack and gambrel hoist and insulate and finish the interior.
