It’s a huge, sad problem, but there needs to be a pragmatic approach and not an emotional reaction. Curious, will there be a point that you will not be willing to compromise? What is it? The whole "they" will be happy mentality i think is a problem on both sides. Both sides want it all and are unwilling to budge. Of course that's a possibility, time will tell. Today is the 33rd anniversary of Tiananmen Square. An Unarmed populace advocating for personal freedoms mowed down by their government, and now erased from all memory and history for the citizens there. The big picture is scary and it’s hard to gamble when we have countless examples of overreach, hostility, and genocide. I appreciate your thoughts and the conversation. 4

Of course that's a possibility, time will tell. I absolutely refuse to willingly give up any of my current 2nd amendment rights as listed under the United States constitution... I have seen it time and time again where the pro-gun ownership people have agreed to a compromise and immediately thereafter the anti-gun crowd began seeking another "compromise" regarding the next item on their long list...All of these proposed "solutions" are really nothing more than a thinly hidden attempt to attain their ultimate goal of doing away with private individual gun ownership in the United States... "Shall not be infringed" is a very simple concept that they will not accept...

Of course that's a possibility, time will tell. If these globalist / marxist want gun control they have a legal way to achieve it. They can repeal the 2nd amendment. That is their option. If they can’t achieve that then F them. Until they are willing to acknowledge that we have a human/morality/evil problem and not an inanimate object problem (gun) then they should be denied, rebuked snd thoroughly dismissed.
Edge Report post Posted June 5, 2022 The Democrats don't fear more mass shootings, they fear you. An armed populace is all that stands between their socialist agenda and your freedom. The libs have done nothing to protect school from violence because these shootings work in their favor. Now wake up, understand and stop conceding your most important rights.

CatfishKev Report post Posted June 5, 2022 Well at the end of the day I'm just another Lincoln log cutter with an opinion. I doubt the tax stamp will even be an option. I do feel like the left is gaining traction and I believe a big change is probably coming but we will see. I'm all for armed personal in schools, metal detectors etc. In fact if I was a teacher I would carry concealed even if I knew I could get fired for it.
TOBY Report post Posted June 6, 2022 In the liberal news. The identities of the victims and suspects have not been released. Last weekend, six teenagers were shot in downtown Chattanooga during a confrontation between two large groups. No arrests have been made in this shooting as well. Large groups.... BILLS-117HRih 2022 FORWARD.pdf Thanks for sharing. (BIG congrats on daughter's wedding!!) 41 pages of legal babble in that .pdf.... Did word searches up and down but couldn't find anything regarding being accountable if a gun is stolen and used in a crime. (In fact, the word 'stolen' doesn't even appear in the bill.) Seems like there is some stuff in there regarding safe storage of firearms having to do with accessibility by minors or anyone who ineligible to carry (felon?), but can't see anything about guns being stolen. Oh well, makes me glad I'm not a lawyer or lawmaker who has to interpret that crap to make practical sense of it all.
