josh Report post Posted October 20, 2008 Thought I would post some pics of an awesome trip I just got back from. We spent six days fishing in the Amazon rain forrest in Brazil. We had a group of four and caught 642 fish. We stayed in floating cabins that were moved around the river system by a large house boat. The accomidations were excellent. Great staff, guides, and the food was unbelievable. The Peacock bass hit even harder than what I was expecting. The largest fish I caught was fifteen pounds, along with a bunch around the ten pound mark. The flaura and fauna was everything you would expect to see going into the Amazon. We saw many parrots, macaws, caimens, and the unbelievably beautiful pink dolphins. It was a great trip and would highly recommend any angler who has ever wanted to fish for these super aggresive predators to do it.

Yes I forgot to mention that peacock bass is some of the best tasting fresh water fish I have ever had. The pirahna was pretty good as well.
