Crazymonkey Report post Posted June 2, 2022 The few elk I've seen when out camping looked healthy .Two in 6a a few weeks back and 3 over the holidays in 22 .6a was a spike and a cow and 22 was two cows and a small bull still in velvet right in the road by shoofly headed to water.The bulls were small but healthy and the cows were on the full freezer side . I think that to really make any sort of significant impact on the overall drought conditions though, it's really going to take some good, strong, sustained winter precipitation.
