I think they could in several units ,but probly afraid of something happening like a die off or disease that could wipe em out if numbers got to low and wipe out their project. Little Creek Calls Report post Posted May 4, 2022 If and when they do increase the tag numbers I think it will be with an added third or fourth hunt to keep the number of hunters in the field at one time down to avoid conflicts between hunters. zackcarp Report post Posted May 4, 2022 Once they relocated a dozen or so birds to the San Bernardino Wldlife Refuge east of Douglas. If you've never been there its just a huge mesquite thicket with a few cottonwood trees. I thought that was the dumbest waist to relocate turkeys there. Within a year they were all gone.
