Non-Typical Solutions Report post Posted April 27, 2022 Looking to get some feedback on what these rigs are going for right now! Cole bought this for his detailing business up in Gunnison while he is going to college! What does the CWT community think it is worth on todays market? 1996 4Runner Manual 5 Speed 4 X 4 170K miles on the new motor 320K miles on the body Engine Block Heater New Springs 3" Lift New: belts, clutch, battery, plugs. Clean interior Medium wear open country tires. Personally, my advice was not to sell!!!
bigorange Report post Posted April 27, 2022 I have a friend who loves these things…I’ll ask his opinion and get back. I know he’d say not to sell too…
twigsnapper Report post Posted April 27, 2022 I’d say 3,500-5,000 depending on documentation of the motor… just a mildly educated guess, the 3rd generation 4Runners (97-2002) tend to bring more money than the 2nd generations do
twigsnapper Report post Posted April 27, 2022 Also I see it’s got a Colorado plate, AZ folks are pretty persnickety when it comes to rust… how the undercarriage looks will also factor in
eddielasvegas Report post Posted April 27, 2022 Post your question HERE. My guess is you'll have a couple PMs to buy before the week is over. If no major problems like rust, accidents history, etc. then $6-9k all day long. Good luck, Eddie

Good luck, Someone probably would pay 8 for a 5 speed 320k mile bald tire 26 year old truck.

There are a few 2nd Gens on marketplace with less than 250k miles for $6k or less. Don’t think one with 300k+ miles will bring more money but this market is crazy so who knows…

HorseHunter Report post Posted April 29, 2022 I'd say run her 'til the wheels fall off, then put them back on, and run her some more! Save that $600/mo (modest est. I know) truck payment in a retirement account. In hindsight, I have regretted selling most vehicles I have owned.
