Coues 'n' Sheep Report post Posted October 16, 2008 Well done! but whats up with the kid in a chair? rough him up a lil bit The chair was a product of two things.... tall grass & brush on the hillside and how close the truck was parked to the location he was set up... It was easier to pull out the chair than to muck out the grass and brush. It made for a very compfortable and relaxed kid, too! Thanks everyone for the responses! I know the Boys & Dads will read them. (Ya know how those Lurkers are.... ) Everyone had a great weekend! I am sure that we all wanted in our hearts to ground check a Monster.... but instead we had a Monster Weekend of success with all the boys and everyone went home happy with deer in hand! The hunting with youths need only be as hard as it takes to be successful.... if you do not make it fun/enjoyable for them... they lose interest. We built toward the future with these boys, hoping to make them hungry for a Bigger and Harder hunt next time. My nephew (Clayton) will be back behind The Tradition for a late bull tag at the end of Nov.... and let me tell you.... He is Hungry!!! Now, if we could just get a another Dad on this site to hurry up and post pics and a story of his son's Junior's Hunt.....Not that I would mention any names...... Mike! That is how Zip got bloody three times in three days! Jade, I did not get "Zip" from that movie.... actually, never watch it.. Another guy asked me the same thing last week.... I had no clue. I actually call him "Zipper" most of the time..... but if you were to see how his 10 wk old legs carry him around, the name "Zip" makes perfect sense!
