Great Buck! Great back pack! Great guys!

I was on this hunt as well.....or at least I felt like I was as I got play by play over the phone with text message including pictures throughout the hunt! Pictures of the live buck bedded and after and the whole bit! I think I may have even heard the shot! ;) MAN Jake is a multitasker to the extreem and can guide and text at the same time! I mean I was shaking and heart pumping and everything!

Thanks guys! And congrats to the three of you once again!

Lance

Don't you just love technology?! Glad you were "there" too! Although my wife probably disagrees with the "multitasker" label while texting and doing something else (listening to her??). She calls it ADD.... For me its more like ADCD. Definitely Attention Deficit, until the COUES Disorder kicks in...

Thanks for the kind words, guys. I was lucky enough to join in on the fun with the boy and my buddy (Who shall remain nameless. Because I know he'll read this, never post on here, nor take credit for any giant buck he's taken or been a part of taking....What a LOSER!)

I scored the buck at 106" and my friend scored it at 105" and some change. Nice guess Azpackhorse, almost like you've got an "inside" somewhere........... I'm watching you!

All of you were dang close on your scores. Honestly, we didn't think he'd score over 100". Then we'd get little glimpses of him and we'd second guess ourselves. In my experience, usually when I second guess my initial guess, I over-judge them by a bit. Maybe that's why myself (and maybe my buddy), weren't budging!

Like I mentioned to somebody else, when you're not used to eyeguards like that I guess it's easy to just look at the rest of his frame and base your guess off of that.

Here is the best picture I got of the buck bedded. Those of you who went out over Friday and Saturday saw how ridiculously windy it was so we were waiting for both the buck to stand AND the wind to die down. Not an easy feat when you're trying to do it simultaneously! This fiasco lasted for probably more than an hour. Thats when I had the time to text Lance. Ha Ha!

This was at 368yds through my 15's.... Still waiting for some genorous hunter to donate me a Swarovski Spotter so I can get better pics. Any takers??? These will do for now. Thanks again guys and I'll pass the congratulations over to the hunter....

Very nice! I think that is your classic, perfect 105" buck! His little buddy would have been in trouble if there was a second hunter, I would imagine!
