Just ate a unit 21 tag samich. Yuck!

5 full days and 2 half days in the field

35 + hours glued behind the tripod

112 miles on the quad

500 + miles on the truck

lost count of miles hiked

1 flat tire

All my gear wet, muddy and / or rusty.

And I still had a blast!

Desertbull,

Sounds like a geat time! I wish I had the tag to get me out there with ya!

Tomorrow, I think the best new thread will be,

"What to do with my unused tag" ,

or maybe

"What's your best best recipe for tag Soup"

Or the ever popular...

Next year I am going to...

Been there, dont that, got the tee shirt. But seriously Just Being able to experience God's great outdoors is awesome on its own and it is really hard to complain too much.

Yeah 22 got hit pretty hard too. My 4x4 silverado couldn't make it back into the hills until Friday afternoon. Even then it was sliding everywhich way. We had a great time too, espesially when we snuck up on some nature hikers, who got in between us and a buck :D

I couldnt get into my spot in 21 on Friday morning due to a small wash that was a raging torrent. Decided to try another spot that was higher up. Too bad the road was all clay. Got my front end sunk at 9 AM, tried all day to get out, my brother came and got me out at 7 PM, truck stayed the night on the mountain.
