GameHauler Report post Posted October 7, 2008 Subject: Doctors vs. Gun owners Doctors (A) The number of physicians in the U.S. is 700,000. ( Accidental deaths caused by Physicians per year are 120,000. © Accidental deaths per physician per year are 0.171 Statistics courtesy of U.S. Dept of Health and Human Services. Now think about this: Guns (A) the number of gun owners in the U.S. is 80,000,000. (Yes, that's 80 million) ( The number of accidental gun deaths per year, all age groups, is 1,500. © The number of accidental deaths .000188. Statistics courtesy of FBI so, statistically, doctors are approximately 9,000 times more dangerous than gun owners. Remember, 'Guns don't kill people, doctors do.' FACT: NOT EVERYONE HAS A GUN, BUT ALMOST EVERYONE HAS AT LEAST ONE DOCTOR. Please alert your friends to this alarming threat. We must ban doctors before this gets completely out of hand!!!!! Out of concern for the public at large, I withheld the statistics on lawyers for fear the shock would cause people to panic and seek medical attention! TwoGuns Report post Posted October 7, 2008 that is hilarious....sort of. this was in the news today.... Doctors Remove Woman's Ovary, Fallopian Tube Instead of Appendix Tuesday, October 07, 2008 E-Mail Print Share: A Swedish woman woke up from surgery and found that instead of having her appendix removed, surgeons instead took one of her ovaries and a Fallopian tube, Sweeden’s The Local reported Tuesday. Although the incident occurred in October 2007, the county hospital in Sundsvall-Harnosand in Sweeden is just now reporting it to the National Board of Health and Welfare. The Vasternorrland County Council, which manages the hospital, said the surgery’s complex nature may have contributed to the mishap. cant wait to have that wonderful nationalized, socialistic healthcare coverage obama is pushing so we can have healthcare like those lucky europeans. Rembrant Report post Posted October 7, 2008 Three months ago it was determined that my mom qualified for hospice attention - heart rate, blood pressure, bed ridden. So they got her a hospital bed, got her hooked up with the hospice people and took her off the 25 perscription drugs that were keeping her going. Within a month and a half she was on her feet, taking care of her own personal needs, having dinner with other people, moving around as she needed, and removed from hospice care. I'm not making this up. Guess that's why doctors say they are practicing medicine. Mike
