Newbie2012 Report post Posted January 30, 2022 Hiked around in the low country on Saturday to check things out. Sure is getting dry. Some big tanks still have frozen water in them, but the smaller ones are dry. Saw a dozen deer and 2 elk. No coyotes were hurt in this hike. Blue Mesa currently 84' below full at 28% which ultimately feeds into the Colorado River on in to Powell!!! Locals claim they have never seen it this low since the original filling of the lake!
