nevermind the pictures, where are you finding all the bucks

 

that grass looks just like the grass in the southern units, i was scouting yesterday and saw several deer in the tall grass, i couldnt see anything except the top of their backs until they picked their heads up. i hope a fire doesnt start down south this year, there is a ton of undergrowth.

there is alot of grass, it is in the southern units, got to catch them when they are up, if they bed down good luck

no kidding, i was watching some deer and took my eyes away for a second and they were out of sight because they bedded down.

Everything is still in velvet, which makes this upcoming jr's hunt something kind of special, my youngest son has a tag, so it looks like another velvet buck for our family, oldest son killed a good one during the archery hunt, that one is in the bowhunting section of the forum under one afternoon.
