aeverett152 Report post Posted January 16, 2022 Sounds good everyone. I appreciate everyones input. I wont be able to hunt October this year since I will be out of the country for a couple weeks so that is why I was focusing on December. I will most likely buy a point this year and apply next year 👍
Jimmer Negamanee Report post Posted January 17, 2022 Buying a point is always a better strategy than skipping the draw but perhaps consider applying for the hunt you want and buying "point guard" which is like cheap trip insurance. With point guard if you are out of the country or physically out of commission, you can turn your tag in and not lose any points. Don't give up on a Dec. WT hunt if that's what you want. The weather is cool and there is a lot less human activity from other hunters. And f you're lucky there's some pre-rut activity.
