aeverett152 Report post Posted January 14, 2022 I was planning on applying for a desert mulie hunt in south west AZ with the one point I have. Then started doing some research and like the opportunity december rifle hunts have to offer for coues. I know my draw odds are low 1-3% with one point but I would rather have a low draw odd with a high success rate vs a high draw odd and a low success rate. Anyone else recommend this? How are the December rifle hunts for coues?

Jfos Report post Posted January 15, 2022 The late November early December hunt can be tough because there has already been a lot of pressure from the earlier hunts , youth hunts , or mule deer hunts in the area. But it’s pretty easy hunt to draw. If you scout and glass really well you’ll turn deer up on whatever hunt you’re on.

If you want to be in a December hunt, go for it!
