Azooutdoors Report post Posted December 10, 2021 I got some interest on the other horse stuff I posted so I'll give this a try. I have 3 Amish made quality harnesses. Includes Collars and Hames. One of them is a breast pull for a pony or small horse. Bits and bridles also. I'm guessing I have $6,000 or more in these but I haven't driven a carriage since 2005 so if someone is into driving horses they can have this package for the reasonable price of $1,750. The way the world economy and green governments are heading driving a carriage might soon be the only way to take the family to town. 602-510-399three
Edge Report post Posted December 10, 2021 You're right on the gas vs hay comparison, was just doing the math yesterday. They're opening a Fry's a few miles away and we'll use horsepower to get there. Been practicing driving a friend's team and picked up a cart and biothane harness over the summer. GLWS
Crazymonkey Report post Posted December 10, 2021 Looks cool. But something tells me its not any cheaper than driving a car when you figure all the feed and what not.

I spend much less money maintaining some horses than I do a Chevy truck. Notice I specified CHEVY. If you're willing/able to do shoes, shots to sutures yourself, they're affordable. nicolasamples Report post Posted December 28, 2024 That sounds like a great deal for anyone interested in driving! Amish-made harnesses, collars, and hames are known for their quality, and it’s nice that you’re offering everything as a complete package. With the way things are going, having an option like this might become more valuable over time.
leahhem Report post Posted December 29, 2024 If you're looking for a solid horse carriage harness, I’d recommend checking out some quality options that will last. It’s important to find something that’s both comfortable for your horse and easy for you to handle. The fit is key, and you’ll want materials that can stand up to a lot of use without falling apart. In my experience, going with trusted brands usually pays off in the long run. Make sure to look for adjustable features for a more custom fit. I’ve found that ranchhand.store has a pretty great range of harnesses, so it’s worth taking a look at what they offer.

Azooutdoors Report post Posted December 29, 2024 Thanks. They're quality and I wouldn't use anything but top equipment when you depend on it for you and your horses well being.
