Yeah…it was the YouTube vids that had people taking off control arms and other various steering and suspension parts that made me nervous to do it myself too. Curtis Reed Report post Posted December 1, 2021 I also have spring compressors you can borrow if you need them. I converted my folk’s big suv from airbags to coils due to the bags being warn. I don’t have a Tundra, but don’t they have struts in front? You don’t need spring compressors to change a strut. Just remove and replace the whole unit. The spring compressor that the auto stores rent are ok for working on springs for cars and such, but are really sketchy when working on the heavier springs on trucks.
