NMBPMAN Report post Posted November 19, 2021 May be a long shot but I’m looking to pick up an AK-47. I have multiple AR platform guns but I have always wanted to get an AK gun. Boarman03 Report post Posted November 19, 2021 If worst comes to worst, you can build an upper for your AR in 7.62 x 39. But I believe an AK has looser tolerances and with it's design it seems it will almost always function no matter how dirty it gets. Tough gun for sure.
