Muely or Coues

You guys act like 100" coues grow on trees. I'd like a big muley too but lets consider what is more rare and what is more of a trophy respective to each specie.

I feel like there a ton more 100” coues shot than there are 170” mule deer. The problem with people shooting mule deer is everybody thinks their “big” 4x4 is 180” until they put tape to it and find out it’s a 150” 😂😂 or maybe that’s just my problem.

You can go online and find a dozen 100” coues killed so far this year in AZ. There’s probably 0 170” muleys from the desert

Psst, I don't think that mule deer was taken in the desert by the photos.  

I haven't taken either but just personal experience the skill set to take a desert muley relies less on technology and more hunter skill than a 100" coues.   Very little opportunity to glass and to shoot long range.

I know a few people with several 150” bucks they think are 180.
