Best spotting scope for 500$ any advice

Is there a good spotting scope out there that is worth getting for 500$ or less?? Bushnell, Vortex, and even Nikon also has what looks like a decent one for about that price also. Any help would be appreciated!!

I have the Nikon 16-48x65 spotting scope and i love it. Its goes for $400.

I have a mint in the box Pentax PF-65 EDAII with 20-60x eyepiece that I'd sell for $575.00 shipped. This is the angled version with ED lens, factory stay on case, lens covers, box and all paperwork.

I bought the Cabelas Alaskan Guide series spotter that was for sale on the forum. It is no Swarovski or Leica, but it is not bad. At 20-40x it is very very nice. When I crank it up to 60x is where I can notice the difference from the top name spotters.

 

But for the $225 that I paid for it, I am pleased!!!

Nikon Pro-staff, can't beat it for the cost look on ebay and there is a place in Texas I believe that has them pretty cheap!
