wbyfireman Report post Posted September 17, 2008 Is there a good spotting scope out there that is worth getting for 500$ or less?? Bushnell, Vortex, and even Nikon also has what looks like a decent one for about that price also. Any help would be appreciated!! Thx

firstcoueswas80 Report post Posted September 18, 2008 I bought the Cabelas Alaskan Guide series spotter that was for sale on the forum. It is no Swarovski or Leica, but it is not bad. At 20-40x it is very very nice. When I crank it up to 60x is where I can notice the difference from the top name spotters. But for the $225 that I paid for it, I am pleased!!!
