trophyhunter Report post Posted September 17, 2008 THought I would share some pictures of a buck I shot almost two weeks ago. To make a long story short I finally came through on a spot and stock on a mature coues. The shot was 40 yards and hit him in the neck because he was looking at me or in my direction. He kept getting bigger and bigger as I walked closer. I have been watching this deer for a few years and finally I was able to close the distance. I was hunting an area with no success of seeing any big bucks. Luckily I packed my gear up and headed to one of my other favorite spots. It all worked out and I couldn't be any happier.
