Snapshot Report post Posted September 16, 2008 The job market in the Tucson area is not very good overall, I have never seen the help wanted section in the newspaper this thin in many years, construction is way down, and highly competitive i n a dog eat dog market. The only stable and increasing area is health care. The copper mines have been hiring off and on but they get flooded with apps' and every company can be very selective with who they hire because of the overflow of applicants. Not trying to discourage you, but you might want to do a little research with the online job services websites for the Tucson area and see what is available. you can research the classifieds of the Tucson Star/Citizen newspaper online also.
