gr8fuldoug Report post Posted October 1, 2021 Limited Time Sale - Save $1,000.00 on the Pulsar Helion 2 XP50 2.5-20 Thermal Monocular Reduced from $3,999.97 to only $2,999.99 A step forward in thermal imaging The Helion series thermal imagers embrace a wide range of professional and semi-professional applications from hunting and scouting to law enforcement and life rescue. Hunters looking for animals in the woods, outdoor enthusiasts willing to protect camping site at night, law enforcement professionals seizing criminals and rescue teams searching for survivors or lost people all will be pleased with potential of the Helion series from Pulsar. High resolution 640x480 thermal imaging sensor The Helion XP boasts an uncooled micro-bolometric matrix 640x480px, at 17 µm, for highly detailed imaging. Built-in video recorder The Helion is equipped with a recorder which enables video shooting and image capturing at the time of observation. Video and photo files saved in the internal memory can be transferred to a computer via wired connection or to a phone via WiFi Long viewing range 1800 meters Actual range of detection of a human figure (1.8x0.5 m) in the field (human has outerwear, in the field against the background of the forest) for the Helion thermal scopes up to 1800 meters, depending on the model. Power Supply System B-pack Helion includes a progressive autonomous B-Pack power supply consisting of a quick-detach, rechargeable IPS5, 5 A-h battery pack designed to deliver over 8 hrs. of operation on maximum mode. Higher-powered IPS10 battery packs, as well as CR123A and AA battery cases, also are available and provide a perfect off-the-grid power solution. Stadiametric rangefinder Helion has a stadiametric rangefinder performed in the shape of rangefinding reticle which enables distance measuring to observed objects with known height (deer - 1,7 m; boar – 0,7 m; hare – 0,3 m) with a sufficient precision. Pulsar’s proprietary Image Boost Technology is comprised of software algorithms designed to increase imaging clarity and overall image detail. Image Boost results in a sharper, more detailed field of view and enhanced object identifcation capabilities. Color palettes In addition to user-favorite “white hot” and “black hot” imaging, Helion offers a robust array of 8 color palettes for true colorized temperature mapping. Transitioning from color to default “white hot” during operation is also fast and easy. Mobile-Friendly with Remote Control and Live Internet Streaming The highlight of the Helion is the ability to link via Wi-Fi the device with Android and iOS based mobile units using the free mobile application Stream Vision. The Stream Vision software connects the device with Android / iOS mobile unit (smartphone or tablet) which enables you to receive footage in the real time mode, to distantly operate the device with your smartphone, as well to stream online the image captured by the device to YouTube. More features Variable magnification Helion models include variable magnification, up to 8x depending on model, and feature both 2x step-up and smooth, graduated magnification for a truly optimum, customized field of view. High image frequency Due to the high image frequency (50 Hz) it is comfortable to use thermal camera dynamically (during rapid moving of observer or object of observation). Fully waterproof The Helion thermal scopes can be operated in precipitation of any intensity, e.g. heavy shower or snowfall (the units have IPX7 degree of protection according to the IEC 60529). Updatable Software For initial setup and additional updates, the iOS and Android compatible Stream Vision App ensures the most recent Helion software versions are available. External power supply Helion makes charging from external sources, such as power banks, fast and easy with a micro-USB jack. The convenience of power-bank charging even enhances the ability to power up the Helion during extremely cold weather while also protecting the source from rapid discharge. User-friendly interface The Helion is designed with ease-of-operation in mind. User feedback has resulted in the most friendly interface to date, complete with an easy-to-read, icon-driven, alpha-numeric status bar at the bottom of the display. Internal menu items and options are also displayed on a contrasting gradient substrate so you can keep an eye on settings without losing sight of your objective. Display Off When it is necessary to temporarily stop observation the user can apply Display Off function. It provides the necessary level of camouflage (no light from the eyepiece of the device) between observation sessions as well as the fast restart of observation (when display is turned off, all other systems are working; for normal operation it is enough just to power on the display again). Wide range of operation temperatures Helion thermal imaging scopes are effective for the use in low temperatures (-25°C) thanks to the frost-resistant AMOLED display employed in the unit (image remains the same as when viewing at positive temperature of the surrounding atmosphere). Effective temperature stabilization of the sensor A radiator panel, located on the device’s body, effectively prevents heat build-up from the sensor and other components while also significantly reducing temperature and noise sensitivity, especially between calibrations Magnification Factor 2.5-20x Objective Size 50.0 mm Linear Field of View 12.4m at 100m Weather Protection Waterproof Weight 31.7 oz Dimensions 9.2 x 2.2 x 2.3" Color Black Check out our new Just Arrived Section and our Latest Sales Flyer We appreciate all the orders and support.
