rcorley Report post Posted September 28, 2021 On my 2021-2022 Ariz Quail Reports page: Sept. 12 I wrote a "What to Expect" note for all three of our Az species. Sept. 23 reported on two scouting trips/hikes with the Britts. Just in case you're interested. . . . . I live in central Ariz. rcorley Report post Posted September 29, 2021 Thanks for the note PRDATR. Am guessing that in most areas of the state it will be a year to "limit your limit." We should see pockets of ave to below ave bird numbers. Last year's non-monsoon and very dry winter followed by this summer's great July-Aug rains is unique. All the best, Bob C.

Hopeful based on the generous monsoon this year. 🙏🏼 Anxious to get my new partner out there this fall.

Red Rabbit, Belle was a beautiful soul and the Alpha in my kennel for many years. She was almost 12 so got to enjoy her for some good years. Ah man. You get a good one with all the time in the field and the loss is felt even more acutely. It's a heartbreaker for sure.
Yuma Outdoorsman Report post Posted September 30, 2021 I've got cameras on 5 different waterholes and not one of them had quail coming to drink. I was so bummed. I have seen a couple coveys out scouting for deer but the numbers are way down compared to last year. Thanks for the report. That is some very good information.
