Unfortunately, like you said, the bears didn’t cooperate. But it sounds like you brought home some great memories! catclaw Report post Posted June 10, 2023 I deer hunt a lake in that unit. I saw 12 bears in 1 hour a couple of years ago. Some spots are thick. The fall hunt is tough with short daylight hours, no salmon left ( usually) and thick brambles. I have a spring tag on the other side of the island. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
