But don't take my word for it. Figure out whether the area you want to go to is National Forest or BLM land or County. Then go to that entities website and look for restrictions. If it is State Trust Land you cannot Target Shoot on it ever but you can hunt on it but don't be that guy who tries to get away with Target Shooting under the guise of "Hunting".
