Edge Report post Posted August 9, 2021 I rockhound out there; fire agate, quartz crystal. Lousy footing, mostly those aggravating round lava softball rocks, jackrabbit and coyotes Eagletails the better choice.
creed Report post Posted August 9, 2021 I live about 7 miles from Saddle Mt. Lots of people at times but there are some big bucks that use the farm fields on the west/southwest side of the mountain. If you can get high and glass the flats in between you sometimes can catch them moving. Overall what Edge said is a pretty good description. Eagletails are a better choice. Coues120 Report post Posted August 9, 2021 Nice, I have hunted the eagle tails before hard and they were good but I always wondered about the saddles, especially the range close to the fields.
