creed Report post Posted August 5, 2021 I either walk back tune or broadhead tune my bows but today thought I would try bareshaft tuning after a papertune. This is from about 25 yards. I have been told all bareshaft will tell you is that your spine is correct and paper tune will tell you how much torque you are applying. Anyone bareshaft tune?
Noworries Report post Posted August 6, 2021 I bareshaft tune all the way out to 40. It’s hard to tell what the bare shaft is doing as far as entry angle in a bag target. Looks like it’s grouping very nicely for you. Broadhead tuning is always the final and most important tune for me since placing a Broadhead as accurately as possible is my #1 goal.
WHT_MTNMAN Report post Posted August 6, 2021 I'm a huge fan of bareshaft but you can't use a bag target with great results IMO. You are looking for parallel shafts out of the target. Then you can start moving sights to match.. Like above BH tune is the end all.
