bowhnt Report post Posted July 23, 2021 for sale...LEUPOLD VX-3 4.5-14X50 W/30mm tube LONG RANGE SCOPE MATTE FINISH $500 built in Leupold's Custom Shop. it has a custom reticle if needed but has a turret system installed. some small blemishes from scope rings . one other small blemish. comes with end cap & scope cover. the internal adjustments for elevation are in 1/3 minutes rather than the standard 1/4 minutes for most scopes. not only does this increase the overall internal adjustment of the scope, but it also gives the hunter the ability to get 20 minutes more of angle in one revolution of the turret. thus making elevation corrections faster in the field. the scope has a side focus and parallax dial. 4huntrs Report post Posted July 24, 2021 I think the reticle is for range finding not hold over. John Byrnes designed it because sometimes his range finder wouldn’t work in fog.
