elkaholic Report post Posted July 20, 2021 Guess you know more than most OTC non resident hunters about what the deer are doing in different units here in Arizona. Just go to game and fish website. Use all the info they provide on each unit. Have fun enjoying the sunshine state.
Mattman215 Report post Posted August 18, 2021 Do you want Couse deer or mule deer?
Kurtrich Report post Posted August 31, 2021 Get prepared to walk a lot! Western hunting requires much more strength and endurance than waiting for a deer to hit your food plot. Good luck.

AZAV8ER Report post Posted August 31, 2021 First off watch all the VORTEX UTubes on archery Coues. It will get you a good general intro. All my rifle hunting has been in 36B, 34B and 35B late OCT early NOV. In the Coronado National ForestIt it is ok to camp off the side of the Forest Road. It is possible to get rained on all hunt, slight chance you get snowed on and plan on possibility low to upper 20's at night & up to 70's during day. The hiking is rugged, lots of loose rock and can be steep in places. Could be a three year process to get it down, good luck.
