JLG Report post Posted August 29, 2008 I have a friend interested in doing the Oct. hunt on the San Carlos. Right now they have A,B & D tags available. I was thinking maybe a B tag and doing spot/stalk off the Black River. Anybody have any feedback or words of wisdom on this? I just started hunting the San Carlos for javelina two years ago, but I have only hunted the southeast portion of C. Thanks in advance, JLG.

mattobertin Report post Posted August 29, 2008 I don't see how you could go wrong near the black river. I was there not too long ago and saw 3 bears two sows and one nice boar. They all decided to come by and say hello at less than ten yards! Was'nt too scared until the big male showed up!!!!!!
