Hunter X Report post Posted August 26, 2008 It was given to me as a gift I'm not planning on selling it at least not until after my deer hunt in November. I was just curious how much it was worth.
azpackhorse Report post Posted August 26, 2008 NIB price is around $350, so depending on the condition prolly around $250 - $300 would be my guess.

ajohunter Report post Posted August 26, 2008 Those are great rifles. I have a Interarms Mark X Whitworth in 375 H&H, and another one chambered in 458 Win Mag. If you decide to sell it I will give you top dollar!!!!!
Hunter X Report post Posted August 27, 2008 $300 max you say ouch the guy who gave this to me just paid $600.
Stray Horse Report post Posted August 27, 2008 $150 to me but I'm cheap. Really $250 The ones I've seen don't shoot well, but are well built.
Benbrown Report post Posted August 28, 2008 If the only things that have been done to it are the addition of an aftermarket synthetic stock, the muzzle brake and the scope and rings, I would say $450 max. If it was professionally bedded (I'm guessing not, the stock loolks like drop-in), has had a trigger job or the addition of an aftermarket trigger, or other work such as blueprinting the action, the value might be somewhat higher. Rifles like this are basically worth what someone is willing to pay for them. With all of the alterations, it may be worth more or less than "blue book" value, depending on who did the work and how well it was done. If it suits your needs and is sufficently accurate (and it was a gift), who cares?
Hunter X Report post Posted August 28, 2008 I thought $600 was high. Maybe he just told me he paid $600 to make it sound like he was giving me more. Either way I think I'm going to give it back. It bothers me too much when people give me stuff for no reason. I'm always going to feel like I owe the guy something now. Thanks for the info guys.
