I was with a couple of buddies hunting quail and stopped in after a morning hunt to get a cold beer. Some hot biker chick had a spat with her old man and asked if any of us shot pool. I volunteered to take one for the team and played a game with her. My buddy Jim thought we were all going to die. My brother used to shoot 30-06 accelerators at groundhogs and claimed they shot as flat as .243 or 25-06. had to make sure I was remembering the right cartridge...didn’t realize they were .22 bullets in the sabot.
