stanley Report post Posted June 2, 2021 A bunch of buddies and I have Christmas Tree lake permits in a couple of weeks. We're looking at camping options, and trying to decide if we want to camp on NF land or stay on the reservation. Has anyone been to the North Fork area lately? Specifically, just after you take the Hawley Lake turn-off from the 260, there used to be camping available up & down the North Fork as soon as you cross over the bridge over the river. Does anyone know if there is still camping along that stretch of the river?? (I tried the Apache G&F, but was not able to get anyone on the phone, so thought I would try here....)
