jdown Report post Posted May 25, 2021 I don't know if this will help, but I picked up a 16ga sxs many years ago that didn't have a name or markings on it but was very well made. I shopped it around a bit and was told that it was most likely a German Guild gun. There were 1000's of machine shops in Germany building guns at or around WW 1 & 2 supporting the war effort and post wars those garage shops turned to making sporting rifles and shotguns. Mostly very well made, but hard to value. I want to say I sold that 16ga for around $700 (that was 25 years ago now).
