Oct 29 - Nov.4. 500 tags So if I draw the wht.tail tag, on a 10 day hunt, I get 500 muley hunters in the woods for the last 3 days For Dec. AZtroutman Report post Posted May 23, 2021 Guys in 23 with December whitetail tags had to deal with unlimited OTC archery deer tags for years. It's changed now but many units are that way. Desertguide Report post Posted May 23, 2021 The overlap is stupid. I've never understood why they do that. Some can't be avoided.. especially late hunts but some make no sense. On the flip side, you'll probably only be competing for camp spots. Most rifle muley hunters up in that country won't hunt nearly as hard as the coues guys. It's not a rut hunt so if you've done your homework you should have at least 5 days of hunting before the muley hunters show up, should be plenty of time.
