Any one fish Willow springs lately? How’s the fishing? Would it be worth a day trip?

I have heard the fishing for trout is good and would imagine that smallmouth have to be getting ready to spawn and should be biting. already been stocked and should be loaded with fish.

I thought i heard they tried killing all the smallmouth of that little lake. Was that true?

There has been attempts to remove non-native fish from dozens of waterbodies in Arizona for decades and not one has been successful, but they do dent large size classes, populations and cost lots of time and money.

They kill the bass all the time, never works, willow was slow and windy when I went, and the new 4 fish limet sucks
